Look at this awesome sweater on the cover of Macy's current catalog. You might think that because it is on the cover of the catalog, it might also be found inside the catalog, or on Macy's website. But, you would be wrong.
Why would they do this to me? So infrequently do I feel like I absolutely have to have something, but this sweater beckons to me, and it must be mine!

You came, you read, you liked the blog (I hope), and now you're wondering "What's the deal with

Are you sure that's a sweater? It doesn't look like a sweater in the picture. I don't think sweaters are supposed to be so tight and form-fitting. I can so see you wearing that though.
Sweaters are fuzzy, no? I'm not sure that's a sweater.
I like the colors here. For a second it looked like a Roots-type concoction. Roots is a Canadian store, I like. If you manage to find the deets re: this, please post. I'd purchase it right after you.
Sov: There are many different kinds of sweaters. They need not be thick or fuzzy, or have funny knitted shapes. The sweater in this picture is what's known as a tennis sweater, so it is in the athletic realm, and is thus lighter than a sweater you might wear out in the winter time. Sweaters are an essential piece of any wardrobe, I say.
B.R.: I will post if I find the sweater. I will also check out this Roots store.
i would like to have arms that thin. while you're searching for the sweater, perhaps you could find me some thinner arms??
thanks in advance.
So it's just a light sweatshirt then?
I wouldn't mind having slimmer arms myself. My body likes to store fat in weird places, and my arms are one of them. But I think there's something fishy about the proportions of the girl in that picture. Her head seems much larger than it should be for that body. No picture ever makes it into print publishing without photoshopping, of course.
No, Sov, it's a sweater. I differentiate between sweatshirts and sweaters. Sweatshirts are that material that is fuzzy on the inside but like a T-shirt on the outside. Sweaters are the same material inside and out, and tend to be more knittingly textured.
Hmm, not my style of clothing, but I guess it is kind of cool.
