LOL at bailing out the man. The man will continue to be unbailed at Mary's house. I haven't owned a TV in many years, and plan to keep to that, unless someone institutes a 24 hr a day Eli Weisel, Dorothy Parker, Poe & WildLife channel. ~Mary

Growing up, I was the only one of my neighborhood friends whose households had cable tv. I didn't understand what my friends did with their time without cable. Luckily, went to live in the dorms for college without a television, and learned that there is so much more you can do in life if you don't watch tv. Watched plenty of movies on my computer. Now we have a tv, but no cable, and watch a little on occasion, but mostly borrow movies and tv shows from the library. I can't stand the thought of doing nothing but watch tv all day, considering how much shit there is out there.
Reality television killed TV for me personally about 10 years ago. I stopped watching TV regularly about then, and finally got rid of my TV all together. I don't miss it at all.
