On the contrary, this day is going quite fast, and the week has been exceedingly speedy. I've got lots to do and no time to do it.
You could try unemployment. It changes the pace a bit.

Well, I've been exceedingly busy this week at work, and that ofttimes makes things go quickly, but this week it's like I hit the ground running on Monday (aka Wednesday#1), and I'm still running today (aka Wednesday#3), and it has made everything feel extremely long. I just want this week to end already!
Man, back when I had a job I hated each week seem to drag on forever.
But, now the weeks...drag on forever...
Crap.
I hope you get Prez Day off.
Sorry about Berkely, but on the bright side, now you can move on past the waiting game and focus on the school where you want to go. Now it's take charge time!
I've got a cushy state government job at University of North Florida and I still have to work on President' Day. I hope you get a three-day weekend, at least!
