I suppose I should have planned ahead...

It is nigh impossible to procure quarters on a Sunday in Salt Lake City. What's a girl with 3-5 loads of laundry to do?

Wash JUST the essentials in the sink with shampoo. Then you can air-dry, or if you have a couple of quarters, hit the machine. Then tomorrow you can do the rest.

What is this rejected from Stanford shit?

I went to wal-mart here on Saturday to get quarters to do laundry. You could probably get a couple rolls at a wal-mart!

I think instead I will just go pantsless. ;)

The Stanford rejection was completely expected. I'm not the stuff Stanford students are made of and never was. I only applied there because, hey, you only apply to law school once! (ideally). I've been expecting to get positive results from most everywhere, except Stanford, and most likely Berkeley. No biggie. To be quite honest, I'd rather go to Davis than Stanford, even if Stanford accepted me. I'm not the competitive type.

I will think of Wal-Martskie next time, but I usually avoid that place like the plague. Always so busy!

Half the people in my local Wal-Mart (aka Wally World) run through the place in pj's and slippers. I doubt it's their laundry night, though, seeing as this is North Florida.

Oh, come on, Sra, haven't you ever seen "Real Genius?" Get yourself a rod of dry ice, cut it into disks, and you're good to go.

If you're out of liquid nitrogen to store the dry ice, I can't help you, sister.

By the by, after struggling a bit, I wrote up that little story you requested.

Dena: We get our fair share of pj-clad patrons as well. I can't say I blame them, really. I should like to go my whole life clad in nothing but velour jumpsuits.

Claire: As a matter of fact, I have seen Real Genius. Excellent little movie. I'm afraid I'm fresh out of liquid nitrogen, however. I'm glad you wrote up the story, I will check it out forthwith. I've missed the presence of your witticisms on your blog and mine ;)
